Default Blu-ray version of The Marine Rated/Unrated

I was just wondering if the Blu Ray release will be the rated or unrated release. I will only buy it if it is the unrated.

Is there some hot steamy sex in it? Why are you so adamant about it being unrated?

It's not that I'm adamant over one version or the other, I just believe that we should be getting the same version that is also being offered on standard DVD. Plus, I hear the unrated version has more action. I also believe that since we are paying more we should receive more. Why would I pay $30-40 for the theatrical version on Blu Ray when I can go to Walmart and buy the unrated DVD for $16-20.

You are getiing more in picture and audio. I am not disputing that. The more that I was talking about was not getting the stuff that was added back into the movie in the unrated edition.

I am planning to get this on Blu-ray as well and I want to know which version it'll be. I wonder when we'll find out?

It is the Unrated version. While the discs A/V was pretty good, I was not overly impressed. Here is my review @ UpcomingDiscs:
