Default 'Rescue Dawn' and others being delayed.

Have not seen any threads on this so I thought I would pass it along. Unfortunately, it looks like Rescue Dawn and other titles are being delayed for ''marketing purposes only'' as part of a promotional campagin for Father's Day. This news was found on the website, www.thedigitalbits.com. The titles being delayed are:

Ronin
Battle Of Britain
Bridge To Far
Red Dawn
Rescue Dawn
The Amnitville Horror

if fox really thinks there is a foolproof uncrackable solution to prevent copying, they might as well stay out of the home distribution market. Let's donate FOX to the HD-DVD side.

Yeah, I don't think this has anything to do with BD+. You'll notice something these titles all have in common...they're MGM titles.

I've heard this is just about the transfers of these films not being in good shape, and pushing them back to fix that up and release on a more apt day.

As for donating them to HD-DVD...um, no. I'll take Fox with delays over no Fox at all. What type of boneheaded statement is that?

Fox won't come to the red side anyway, because HD DVD doesn't have that extra layer of "security".

OK. I am a bit confused. On the website ,www.ign.com, they reviewed the sd dvd of Rescue Dawn. Why has there been no other confirmation, on any other site I have viewed, about the delay of this film?? Maybe themanroom website was in error. Anybody seen other confirmation that this film is being delayed?? Starting to wonder now.
