Default PowerDVD Ultra - Unsupported Format After Crash

I'm using 3319 of PowerDVD Ultra, and it's really driving me nuts. I'm playing the Shooter disc and half the time, the menu causes the program to crash. After that, I have to reboot the PC or else I get a message that I have an unsupported format in the drive. WTF?

Then, I got it working and randomly through the movie, PowerDVD just shuts down. Same thing - Unsupported format. Gotta reboot.

Any ideas? This is some pretty shitty software if you ask me. It's more problems than discs it plays.
