Default How are the blu-ray transfers for the prestige and deja vu?

Considering i have been watching POTC dead man's chest..how do the two movies i mentioned in the title stack up video quality wise?Has there been a blu-ray release lately that has POTC beat?

In my opinion both are excellent. I very much liked both transfers as well as the movies. They are as of the same quality as POTC as far as I can tell.

They're both reference material.

As for the films themselves, Prestige was amazing. Deja Vu was kinda bad...

Prestige is fantastic. Haven't see Deja Vu. I still use POTC: DMC as my demo disc though.

I thought DeJa Vu was better than Prestige. AQ and PQ are amazing on both.

The Prestige got 5 stars for video. (http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/prestige.html)

Deja Vu got 4.5 stars (http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/dejavu.htm)

from High-Def Digest's reviews.

Oh, and Pirates got 5 stars. So, all of them look as if they'd hold up pretty well.

They're both 5 star PQ discs imo.

Only have Prestige, but it's flat-out reference material in nearly any scene you choose.

Go through to the scenes where the machine is turned on with all of the electricity arcing to REALLY get the entire effect of both video and audio. Can be jaw-dropping if you've got a decent sound system.
