Default First movie to earn 5 stars overall will be..

Im tired of there only being one movie, and HD gets the only five star movie ever.

Blu ray is due for one.... so which will it be?

I gotta go with superbad myself.. two discs, 1080p extras, can't beat that

Nope. The movie sucked and the film's style doesn't lend itself to breathtaking visuals and the audio is run-of-the-mill.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl is a 5-star overall film if you add up the scores using the posted rating calculations.

Movie: 4
PQ: 5
SQ: 5
Extras: 4

Average: 4.5

Plus 0.5 for high-def extras: A solid 5 total

Hot Fuzz on HD DVD was given a 5 overall but scores 4.75 and was rounded up. So POTC scores 0.25 higher yet was given half a point less in over-all, which goes against the scoring practices used by HDD.

But posted wise, its only 4.5. Blu ray needs a 5.

I edited my post to explain the rating.

I voted for Ratatoullie because it has to have at least a 4 score for the film and it's animation so PQ will be 4.5 or 5 and the AQ should be the same considering the audio on the film was very active. Extras should be standard Disney with cool things and high-def things as well.

I think Ratatouille is a great candidate. It should have amazing picture quality & sound. Then on top of that you get an amazing story.

Master & Commander should be 5 overall.

The movie was fucking awesome. Deserves 5-stars for the movie itself. Without a doubt.

Nope. I gave it a 1.5 of 5. It was derivative, un-funny, and way too long.
