Default Cars UK BD - Deleted

http://www.sendit.com/video/item/7001000135875

Anyone expecting Cars to come storming onto the market boasting 1.1 features is likely to be disappointed. The UK release was for today (8th October) yet its been deleted. Not rescheduled - but deleted.

This ties in with my attempts to pre-order it at two different retailers last week who couldn't find it on their computer systems.

So it appears Blu-Ray isn't content and function ready after all.

what does this mean??

This item was recently deleted in the UK, but we may still be able to get stock of it. Released: 8th Oct 2007

This is just their webpage template, because they expect deleted titles to have been on sale before being deleted, not pulled before release - so recently deleted titles are still offered for sale on the assumption the retailer will be able to get their hands on some.

Edit: I'm not sure why this thread was moved from smackdown. The point is... it appears 1.1 discs are not ready for the market yet.

I didn't realize that Fox distributed Cars in the UK

Seriously, that's quite... odd.

I'm not sure where you got Fox from cause the link shows that it was Buena Vista Home Entertainment (Disney.)
