That is frickin' great, cause even though the transfer is bad, I only had the movie on VHS and I had to get the Blu-ray version of this movie.

Good.

How could they have screwed this up when they had the Superbit TFE Master at their disposal?

I'd certainly purchase this movie again. But it has to look great.

I will believe it when I see it. Especially about the trade in. Some guy in a forum does not equal official policy. Lets just hope that you can tell the new one from the old one from the box. If not the will just leave all the crappy ones out there and only replace the ones that complain.

However I have seen this movie for 19 bucks around. Perhaps I should get it now and trade it in.

well, if it is a good transfer, ill buy a copy.

When i saw the original one on DEMO at a TV store, i was amazed at how much dirt and crap was on transfer. they finally have someone paying attention to quality at sony pics. wish they started out checking that.

Well at least they recognise the initial release was poor.

That's great they're swapping for people unfortunate enough to buy the first version.
