MGM has announced to retail it is bringing 'Rescue Dawn' to Blu-ray day-and-date with the DVD on November 20:

This is one of those movies that make me wish I could afford Blu-ray. It's a great movie. One of the best I've seen all year.

I think there is a big difference between MSRP and Retail.

For instance: Underworld MSRP is $29. Uderworld retail is actually $19.99

The verbage is what makes people scream about rediculous pricing when they can't find anything else to complain about.

The movie only grossed $5.3 million but it also only opened in 6 theaters. Eventually it was showing in just over 500 but it never had much of a chance.

Not a big fan of the price tag, but a huge fan of the movie. This movie popped up at one of my theatres and anything with Bale I'm willing to give a try. Also Zahn had a great performance and its great to see him back in the Indep scene again.

I want to see this movie. The trailer looked interesting. Will rent it. Not on Blu Ray Disc though due to lack of DTS-HD Master Audio support on PS3.
