Default Help! Security Sticker

Anyone noticed that some Blu-ray cases have that horrible security sticker that pulls the crap out of the case cover when you try to remove it?

Most recen tly I picked up Payback: Director's Cut and mangled the hell out of the plastic on the case when I removed it.

Does anyone have any solutions or methods to deal with those strong adhesives?

Thanks in advance

Jim

No, sorry. The sticker I am referring to is the ones that seal the side and bottom opening of the case. I didn't mean the little black security strip inside the case.

yeah I had First Blood and the sticker started chewing up the case. It might just be easier to cut them down the center and leave them on there. they are using too much glue.

that problem is still from the days of DVD. They use just too much glue on those stickers. I dont like them on my DVD...& maytime in trying to remove them, the plastic gets tangled or residue glus is left behind...which is sticky & the box sticks with other box.

I dont know why they still pack the box so so so horribly,

My main issue is with the Sony releases that have the Blu-ray logo "popping out" on the top. The silver gloss on the logo is cheap and I always pull it off when I pull off the sticker =/

All of my Paramount titles have about half of the sticker glue still on them. I use Goo Gone, but only sparingly, because it will eat the plastic. FUCK U Paramount!

Same thing happened on The Patriot and Hellboy. This really blows, maybe buying some extra cases will solve the issue? Oh you know what? Maybe nail polish remover will do the trick...i'll steal some from my sister and report back...

Cut them down the center, open the case and then pull them off. If that doesn't do it hit it with a hair dryer for a minute or two. A little bit of rubbing alcohol works on the residue.
