I find myself renting and considering buying movies, i wouldnt usually buy on regular DVD and find myself seeing movies i normally wouldnt consider.

I think that a clear, vibrant picture with great sound enhances the movie experience so much its incredible.

I am hooked i must say.

after all the CES announcements yesterday, i have to decide if i should just return the 360 add on...i find Blu-Ray way more appealing.

Yes I have bought more blu-ray's then I thought I originally would. I thought I would just buy a few here and there when I got my PS3. But after watching blu-rays I've been buying more and more.

Yes, definately.

With yesterday's announcment of Man On Fire coming to Blu-Ray in May, I'll definately buy that. Now I need to hear the annoucnment of Bad Boys II on Blu-Ray from Sony. And I'll be happy.

I just bought two DVD's on Sunday. Both are from Universal, since their not supporting Blu-Ray.

I recently bought 10 Blu-ray movies and subscribe to Netflix and order BD movies also. Honestly i only order either Blu-ray or HD DVD movies through Netflix (once you watch movies in HD, there is no going back to "regular" dvds).

Yea, I used to hardly EVER buy DVD movies...maybe once every few months...but now...Im buying a movie or 2 per week. Im also planning on getting Netflix. And, like some of you...I cringe if theres a movie I wanna see...and I can only watch it on regular DVD.

yea, im surprised too on the ammount of Blu-ray I already own. I believe im at 15 discs and my Blu-ray unit was the PS3 from launch Date so I dont even think thats been out for 15 weeks and if so, then ive been getting about 1 Blu-ray a week on average.

I was going back and buying movies ive owned on DVD alread but now, ill only be doing on select movies like The Matrix Trilogy, I-Robot and The Rock that I really want to see in 1080p. Besides that, I own a fairly large DVD collection but any new release, if there is a Blu-ray version, ill be buying that

We find both HD DVD and Blu Ray owners to buy around 7 movies. When DVD was first released the average was 3
