Default 'Fantastic four: Rise of the Silver Surfer' -- pre-release buzz

Fox has officially slotted 'Rise of the Silver Surfer' for a October 2 Blu-ray release:

http://blurray.highdefdigest.com/fan...versurfer.html

Fox is really bumping up the specs lately, with a BD-50, 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 transfer, DTS-MA audio, and extras including a documentary, additional featurettes, deleted scenes and exclusive to the Blu-ray, two BD-Java interactive games.

Retail is $39.98.

While I'm glad to see Fox actually giving a damn about their releases regarding special features, I'll be avoiding this movie like the plague. It took whatever good will I had from the first (which came off as cutesy cheap entertainment) and threw it out the window by trying to appeal to the fans, and failing miserably at it.

I don't care about what others say but I loved this movie and my opinion is the only one that counts for me.

I didnt care for the first FF movie, however, I did enjoy the sequel, though I may be a bit biased due to me loving the silver surfer.

I'm a Silver Surfer fan also. Still have quite a few comic books.

I'm a fan of the movie. Good sequel. Could've been better but meh it does the job. Definetly a must buy in my book.

I liked the movie when I saw in the movie theatre and planning to buy it either as import on HD DVD or on BD if I will be neutral at that time

The film is better than the first film by far, but that still doesn't justify the $39.95 MSRP..
