Default Who has Chronos?

Finally got around to watching this title on my PS3 (I have the latest firmware) & I got an error code. "Video cannot be played" or something.

The disc doesn't really have any visible marks on it. I have a light in my HT which ya can see basically any marks if there are any. I noticed a circular ring in the center of the disc surface under this light. I don't know if the disc is defective because of this mark.

I had read on other formus R&B had had troubles getting this title authored on BD.

For those who own the PS3 & this title, does you copy playback fine?

Thanks!

Yep.

I went to the system update to see if there was one. Nope. I tried a few things like lowering the rez, enabling the ethernet. notta.

Good to know your disc works fine.

Any others out there?

There was a manufacturer recall of the first run of disks. Contact the manufacturer, they will be happy to replace it. I remember when this came up at the beginning of the format lifespan.

It was just for Chronos. The new, fixed, copies on shelves have a slightly different package.

**Edit: I remember the manufacturer state there was a problem with the original master. I believe PS3s are the only ones affected (which is weird because usually the PS3s are immune to the normal BD hiccups)

Yeah, i did that for the departed which had the first batch be insanely crappy lol.

Just took it in and swapped it for the newer one.

I believe the Chronos has a different sticker on the front like Departed did, not for certain though.

Thanks guys.

I ordered through Amazon & they are sending me a new copy. Just hope I don't get another re-called copy.

Threw out the shrink-wrap so I can't tell if the new copy has a different sticker.
