Default What is your Top 3 Movie Studios?

1) Universal (Jurrassic Series, Gladiator, Scarface, 40 Year Old Virgin...)
2) Disney (Nemo, Nightmare Before Christmas, Ratatouille...)
3) Warner (Superman, Batman, Matrix, Goodfellas...)

Please try to do this poll with no bias to which Hi Def Platform you own.

I was going back and forth from studio to studio. Damn that was harder than I thought. Sorry If I forgot any Major Studios out there.

Check out the same poll on the HD DVD side and see what those guys thinks.

1)Warner
2)DreamWorks
3)Universal

I know I am a backer of BD and #2 and 3 on that list are exclusive to HD DVD but I don't believe that most of the BIG movies form those two studios will make it out on HD DVD. Stuff like Gladiator, Collateral, Saving Private Ryan, War of the Worlds, Scarface, Jaws, Jurassic Park etc have not been officially announced as coming titles.

Disney and Warner are my top two.

I voted other for my third option because my third favorite Miramax, which is owned by Disney, but is technically its own studio.

I do wonder how many people will vote for Paramount/Dreamworks given the forum in which this poll is located. I'd imagine for a lot of people who frequent this forum, if Paramount was a favorite studio, it's not anymore.

It's so funny how people have started to hate Paramount for their stance in the Hi-Def Market. Paramount has brought out Movie Classics like The Godfather Series, It's a Wonderful Life, Indiana Jone Series, Forrest Gump and so on. I guess people have forgot movies like I just listed because of BLURAY.

classics maybe but for alot of people, new movies is what we want, not what they did 20 years ago and Paramount hasent made shit in the last 10 years that im like "omg!!!!" The only thing I care for them in the recent years is Italian Job. I love the Shrek series but thats technically Dreamworks.

Also when you look at the HD market, there is a reason Paramount was only 6% of the sales, because they have not kept up in the past 10 years with that many big hits.
