Default Why doesn't Blu-ray have a decent offical website?

I'm HD DVD's website is awesome, it has regular updates, and shows you box-art for all HD DVD titles. It has a real "wow" factor to it. Blu-ray's website site is all outdated, with a cheesy text list of some titles available, and it's really ugly and basic. For such a highly invested product you'd think they would do a better job promoting it online.

I understand that, but it's still quasi-official. It's more like an BDA sponsored, BD-centric High-Def Digest style site. No official site would have anything like "Hettrick's Blog".

HD DVD's official site is a sales pitch/promo site through and through. Hollywoodinhighdef.com, not as much.
