Question I need your opinions (TV on Blu-ray question)

So I have Smallville seasons 1-5 on SD-DVD and seasons 1-2 of Lost on SD-DVD. Now with both season 6 of Smallville and season 3 of Lost coming on Blu-ray, what should I do? Should I buy the Blu-rays and leave a hole in the SD-DVD collection (which is on the other side of the room from the HD-DVD and Blu-ray section) or should I stay with the SD-DVD collections for uniformity? What do you guys plan on doing?

I own the first season of lost of SD-DVD, and I will be buying all future purchases on Blu-ray. I figure... why buy an inferior product? I don't think you need to replaced your sd-dvd, but you don't have to have lower resolution just because you have the first seasons in standard def.

I'll pick Smallville up on Blu. I too own the sd seasons. (what a great show) I just bought season 5 tonight on HD-Dvd, so I'm curious to see how much different it looks from the CW's hidef broadcast.

I own Lost season 1 & 2 on SD DVD and have season 3 pre-ordered on SD DVD. For me it was a price issue. I love re-watching the season to catch everything I missed the first time around but I don't think I will watch it more than a few times which is justifiable at $38 but not at $87 (Amazon prices).

I had Heroes pre-ordered on HD DVD but cancelled it do to the fact I haven't seen it and also do to the price. I just don't re-watch TV series enough to justify the expense.

Buy whichever one makes you happier. If you want your collection to look better on the shelf, get the SD-DVD. If you want better picture and sound quality, get the Blu-ray.

The only tv show i'm interested in in hd is Firefly. I can't see paying a lot of money for made-in-studio shows at all.

Just do what I did when I decided to buy DVD (8 years ago) and Blu-ray (last year)...Stop buying the inferior format! You'll only watch the SD version of LOST thinking, damn, I wonder how much better this would look in HD......
