I love Eddie Murphy's roles, stand up, etc. I still think this series was his best work as an actor.
I totally forgot that Ronny Cox was a good guy in this series. Just about every show he's been in, he's made an awesome asshole. I'm blasting through Stargate: SG1 right now on Amazon Prime video and he's quite a thorn in their sides. I also remember his role as a captain in Star Trek TNG, the 2-parter where Picard is captured by the Cardassians. And who can forget Robocop?

A recent release like this and no digital codes, I probably have little motivation to get this set, but the price isn't really too bad. I bought the Zavvi SteelBook of the first movie, wish they completed the series that way. I really thought the first movie looked pretty good on BD when I first got it. Considering you can buy this series in 4K on digital, I still think I want to wait for an actual 4K disc. Paramount, are you listening?

Paramount has always been stupid, weird and backward when it comes to home video releases, this is just more of the same. Looking forward to the actual 4K release of this set, whenever that is.
