I think I will be in for this set. It looks like Season 1 (as they call it Series 1) is available to pre-order in the UK, but it's still just under $30.
Even though the source is a master video tape in many cases, they did use negatives and film where available, let's remember the PAL video had a significantly higher resolution than NTSC.

I guess I never realized this was never posted, I was in the queue as soon as they pre-announced and had mine pre-ordered on day 1 at the end of July.

*chuckle* Network has nothing to do with Norway they're a UK media provider, the good news is the set is region free which is why I was more than ok ordering and it was about $20 less than the amazon price.
