^^^ you should note that I have posted them in the order of the story time line, not production order, Roman Numeral order or both.

Just a theory: Blu-ray on your HD screen, streaming on any screen.
The original Star Wars movies have never had digital codes. I suspect that was another way of them (Fox/Lucas) selling you a digital copy via a streaming service. It's still hard to fathom, but buying say the Special Edition of Star Wars '77 and getting Disney Rewards points seems odd.

So it's just the 2011 versions and not the original theatrical versions of the OT?

Correct, these do not have content changes to being them back to the original presentation, most will be just a repack from what I've read out there.

However there is rampant speculation that this is the lead up to them in 4K in 2020 and there are hopes for at least the original Star Wars getting a restored release, but that's just rumor.

So the discs themselves, including the Fox released ones will probably be the exact discs here? I only ask this as one of the movies had 6.1 audio, but another site listed the specs at 5.1. So we're getting a different cover art plus the "multi-screen" digital code?

I can't remember who it was on here that told me about Harmys despecialized editions but I honestly can't thank them enough. It's absolutely the ONLY way I ever watch the OT now

I know about those, but I don't support bootlegs for American products or licensed foreign ones.

When I want to watch the original theatrical versions, I'll watch the DVDs I have and when I want to watch them on Blu-Ray, I'll watch my BDs (which I will be doing this year since I will be watching all 8 movies and RO leading up to RotS).

It's a fair point but since I have purchased those movies multiple times on VHS, laserdisc, DVD and Blu-ray I think Lucas/Disney have had more than enough of my money to justify me owning the OT in its best possible presentation
