Default Holmes & Watson -- HDD Review

Written and directed by Etan Cohen, Holmes & Watson once again reunites the comedy pairing of Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly (Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Step Brothers) only this time with disastrous results. For this Blu-ray, Sony delivers an excellent A/V presentation as well as a fair bit of supplements for those brave enough to dig deeper behind-the-scenes of the movie. Even so, I still can't in good conscience recommend this atrocity to anyone -- not even the most dedicated Ferrell/Reilly fans. Skip It.

IMDB: A humorous take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic mysteries featuring Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson.
No 4K, No Sale!! But seriously, a zero-star story rating? OK, OK, I won't ask the same questions Landy has asked. I am NOT curious now to see this one. If it ends up on Netflix I might watch it on the bedroom TV, which is an old 35 inch tube TV from 30 years ago. No big screen and home theater for this one!
Putting in perspective - 27% liked it according to Rotten Tomatoes. And the rating on IMDB is 4.3. I'd make a funny joke about a certain state's voters and try to connect it to these scores, but we have a no politics rule, I may offend someone, so just use your imagination and laugh with me here.
