Nice, both Desert Hearts and Jabberwocky have long been on my "dammit why aren't they on BD" and I look forward to the bonus features on each.

Not sure if I'll upgrade my standard def copy of 'Le samouraļ' to blu. I'll put on my list of things to do when I have too much money.

I haven't seen 'Jabberwocky' since I was a kid. I don't really remember it too well. It would be fun to revisit.

I can't imagine who is going to buy those Olympics movies, especially at that price.

Really excited for Melville's film. One of the best and classic hitman movies ever!

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

I've heard Le Samourai is good, so I'll pick that up at the Dec B&N sale. No interest in the rest.

I have never heard of any of them. How about Looking For Mr. Goodbar. Still hasn't even come out on DVD and the LD is of poor quality. I guess Diane Keaton disowns this movie too. I saw a magazine article of her talking about all her movies except one. Weird. She's probably the one holding back the release.

Cannot wait for The Philadelphia Story! Can't believe it's taken this long for a Blu-ray release! Perfection!

There's a reason it won best screenplay A very tight, well written, well acted script. Just super acting across the board on this movie. I can't wait for it. I may blind buy it.
