Default New Shout Factory Titles Coming in Late 2017 and 2018!

Shout Factory announced an impressive slate of titles due sometime in 2018. Specs, release dates, and pre-order status is pending. As soon as we learn more about these releases we'll update these listings!

Anyone got a favorite they're excited for? Matinee, Misery, Cyborg Collector's Edition and Attack of the Puppet People are big ones on my list! maybe Drag Me To Hell Collector's Edition and Silent Night, Deadly Night if there are some significant new bonus features. We'll just have to wait and see what they cook up for these releases.

Waited so many years for Silent Night Deadly Night, then got the Anchor Bay release, now Shout releases another one, wth???
A couple of these interest me as long as they're worthy upgrades, including Cyborg, absent from this list.

Apparently, Silent Night Deadly Night is getting a new transfer and some new bonus features - but they haven't stated specifics yet so until they roll out that press releases, hold onto that Anchor Bay release.

Might have to pick up Misery, but that is probably it from this batch.

Cyborg's part of the list - accidentally did the key command to edit and it got chopped off - back on there now!

I've never seen 'Mac & Me', but I've heard about it for years. I think it would be an entertaining watch, but not worth $30 just to check out.

Anything on this list that I already own, I don't feel like upgrading. When it comes to watching 'Cyborg', getting the most pristine presentation isn't really a priority.

Yeah... outside of maybe getting to do the review for Mac & Me - I don't see myself shelling out for a piece of nostalgia I may be embarrassed by. I remember we bought that from McDonalds when I was a kid and I thought it was fun then, but that was probably 30 odd some years ago, so yeah, probably pretty bad.

Saw some comparisons between Anchor Bay's 2014 release and this years Scream Factory release of Silent Night Deadly Night - What a disappointment.
Scream Factory's release seems to be more in focus and the clarity is better, but AB's 2014 release has better colors and the light levels are higher, revealing more (albeit out of focus) details. We did not review the AB release and it's hard to say if we will see the Scream release either.

Re: Clarity - see the full sized screen shots with the time clock punch cards. Scream Factory reigns supreme. But for darkness, the scene with Santa broke down on the highway. The AB release you see more of the car and the tree in the background. Best seen as bottom and top from each other. Zoom in though to see the detail level.

You can click the arrows once in full screen and advance the screencaps. The 4th scene is a VHS restoration so don't expect much.
