Default The Lost City of Z - HDD Review

While final film doesn't fully capture the grandeur and weight of Major Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam)'s explorations, Matthew says The Lost City of Z is a grand piece of filmmaking that should be viewed and appreciated. Check it out (I know I'm going to).

For the most part, made on the cheap using handheld cameras . The PQ was pretty bad and had a teal, yellowish look to it. A big thumbs down!

After 'The Immigrant' I decided to never watch another James Grey film. The ones I've seen always seem to be missing something. The pieces just never engage. But, the subject matter of this film does intrigue me. I might give it a rent, if I do, hopefully I don't end up telling myself "I told you so" about James Grey again.
