I blind bought this today. As I generally do not go to the theaters anymore due to not enjoying myself due to the inconsiderate a-holes at the theater doing nothing but creating distractions.
Disney -- Region Locked.. Really??? Is it just me or does it seem that now that UHD BD is out which does not employ region coding that the studios seem to be engaging the lock button more often on regular BDs?

At 3.5 stars for the movie itself, Bryan's comments make it sound like a 2.5 or 2.0. It's one of those cases though I guess I will report back once I watch it. Sounds like one of those you will be entertained while watching but afterwards not inspired, just, meh, time to go home.

I've yet to watch this and honestly, I am in no rush to do so. I'm still trying to figure out why the dragon looks like Battle Cat.

Sad that I missed this in theaters. I've heard mostly good things. I also dig the original, although this one is apparently nothing like it.

Well, they made him look like a dog so that this could be a boy-and-his-dog story. Then he had to be green because the original animated version was green and they had to keep something from that. Therefore, yeah, you wind up with something that looks pretty silly.
