Peter Jackson and company sure know how to milk the double, triple, quadruple, and so on dips for his movies.
It is an extensive list of extras there but is it not all previously released material?

Wow, I agree with Krawk, holy triple dipping Batman!
I was hoping for an ultimate for the original.

Uh, one of the few Jackson movies that I just cant watch, Jack Black is completely miscast and the CGI in this thing is awful, it was awful then, except maybe for Kong and its awful now....the dinosaur stampede looks SO bad...not to mention the movie is way too long and pretty boring for most of it, I have no idea what he was thinking with this one....rest of his stuff, even The Hobbit films, I love quite a bit and watch often

I couldn't agree more. I hate this film. I hate it, hate it, hate it!!!

I don't mind the first part of the film, leading up to the island. But the entire island portion of the film is awful. It's basically King Kong meets Jurassic Park. And it's way too long.

I also dislike the whole humanizing of King Kong. The 1976 remake did the same thing. The 1933 original did no such thing. Kong was a monster to be feared. No one cried when he died.

I know this is a remake but this question always comes up. A trek to mysterious island... screw the big ape, what about the dinosaur?

Very true. There is a whole island full of dinosaurs and unique animals. Forget making a film or a Broadway show. Just turn the island into a theme park.

Remember when they sold the 'Production Diaries' on a 2-disc DVD for $20 ahead of the movie's release? Shameless move, Universal.

Priced at $10, with a lenticular slipcover. I gave in.
It's only a triple dip from DVD and HD DVD. It's not
like I already owned the blu-ray. So no quadruple
dip for me; I ain't that crazy.
