Default 'I.T.' - High-Def Digest Review

Matthew has reviewed 'I.T.' He says a solid performance from Pierce Brosnan can't elevate this film. You can skip it.

Does Pierce owe back taxes or something? He's made some really bad choices since leaving the Bond franchise.

C'mon guys, he was great in 'Mama Mia!'. He sang almost as well as Crowe in 'Les Misérables'.

Detonator was shit. Even had Patrick Stewart in it. So yes, Brosnan is just happy to have a paycheck.

Maybe when they reboot 'Cannonball Run' he can play Seymour Goldfarb?

But seriously, I quite like Brosnan as a performer. I realize he's got a fairly narrow range (suave guys), but I would love to see him connect with better material. I really liked the remake of 'Thomas Crown Affair' and thought 'Tailor of Panama' was top notch.

Agreed, he just needs good material. You can see the hints where this once could have been an interesting project, maybe 15 years ago when a lot of this tech was new, but now everything in this flick feels old hat and its tough to take a wormy nerd seriously.

I remember Seraphim Falls being solid. It's been like 10 years since I've seen it.
