Toy Story says hello.

Also: a bonus disc with a mere 20 minutes? What a waste of disc/material/resources.

I would say 'Rocky III' is better than 'Rocky II'. And I would say 'Death Wish 3' is the best in its series. 'Goldfinger' might not be better than 'From Russia With Love', but it's no slouch. I realize none of those series I just referenced are trilogies in that the third film was the final one, but it's getting pretty hard to find trilogies anymore. Every successful series seems to keep getting dug up for one more go round.

I preordered this, glad I did...huge fan of the franchise, but only saw the third one once...and I wasn't thrilled about it at the time.

As for a perfect trilogy...

John Carpenter's Apocalypse Trilogy!

Eh thats reaching really, not truly a trilogy, thats like the Cornetto trilogy from Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright....3 totally different films for some reason being called a trilogy?

IMO, Back to the Future is one of the best all time actual trilogies, the ORIGINAL Star Wars films as well, not the screwed up added to redos that Lucas has changed around

Well Return of The King did win 11 Academy Awards, safe to say that's probably the high bar for a 3rd and final movie.

It did, but many would say that Fellowship and Two Towers are better movies.

Yah I think many rank them Two Towers, Fellowship, then King.
