Default 'Kubo and the Two Strings' - High-Def Digest Review

Aaron has reviewed 'Kubo and the Two Strings'. He says this is a very special movie. The Blu-ray is highly recommended. Here's why...

I really want to see this. I get the feeling that none of the kids in my life would really get into it, but I would probably enjoy it.

This right here, I watched this with my 5 year old and he had a good time with it....some of the movie is a little too weighty for his mind right now, but the magic and the creatures, especially the twin sisters and that skeleton monster, he really really enjoyed, the message and overall story I think is meant for kids who are a bit older though, but there is plenty there for even the younger ones like mine to enjoy too

Personally, I loved the film, as I have with every Laika movie to be honest, I own them all and love their stuff about as much as I love Miyazaki movies

I have three girls, ages 3, 6 and 9. All of them LOVE Kubo. The older two saw it in theaters twice. I don't think age or gender will make a difference.

Kubo is tense and fun. In many ways, it's the same movie as Moana (just without the music). So if you'd take your kids to Moana, there's no reason why they couldn't watch and enjoy Kubo.
