Formulaic drivel? Can't agree, the tone employed and the athmosphere evoked throughout Jeepers Creepers - and it's highly underrated sequel - elevate it WAY above formulaic. In a word populated by the likes of Insidious and the like, this movie is a little gem. The final scene still gives me the creeps after all these years, something that very rarely happens these days...!

Classic horror film. Loved the three phase act in this film: Killer Car, Slasher, Monster. Terrifically written and executed. Just wish some of those sub-par digital effects were better.
As for this release though, glad I saved $30 and didn't pre-order it. Will just stick with the MGM blu-ray I got for $6.

No special features on Salva's despicable extra curricular activities, and the disgusting allegorical subtexts in the films?

Hmm, I actually like the MGM transfer better in those shots, I like the dreary tint to the colors and the darker tone, seems to fit better, Screams version is a bit too bright for my liking based on how I remember the film from a while back....doesnt look like much else changed though, detail seems to be about the same and the soundtrack is the same....glad I only paid $10 for my two pack of both films, not worth paying all that for Screams versions, again a bit too overpriced for what they did or didnt do, of course can you get the MGM releases anymore? if not, great films to pick up but a little much, glad I got the release I did
