Default 300 flickering issues on transfer?

Hi, just finished watching this on BluRay at 1080p lcd hdtv, via hdmi connection.
Noticed slight flickering only on certain scenes of the movie. Usually on non-battle scenes and scenes with yellow clouds in the background, as if there were subtle lightnings in the clouds or a flame nearby. Does anyone else notice this ? It gets annoying after a few times, did not notice this flickering at the theater. And it's not the tv, we tried a different movie and no flickering problem at all. Keep in mind, I did watch this at night with lights turned off.
Someone else also have this same issue at:http

Me and my friends were watching it and we did notice the same light flickering, it is subtle but nevertheless, not what we would expect from a big release.
Did you watch in the dark as well? It's not in every scene, so you would have to be keen when watching. Imagine watching Indiana Jones when he has a torch flame nearby going into the dark cave. You would expect to see some light flickering, because of the nature of fire. Yet, we're getting this effect when watching 300. Maybe flickering is not the correct term for this problem?
When it happens, there are no lines or fragments on screen, just different rapid light being projected from the tv.

Both versions are the exact same. So if there is flickering on Blu-ray im sure the reviewer would have noticed. its probably the problem with your disk. Whats your TV ??

Section on AVS Forum about the problem on blu & hd-dvd.

I tested my disk and no flicker. However, I loved the movie and grain in movies do not bug me, but this is not a 5/5 PQ. I give it 4/5 PQ for the most!

thats a really good TV, i thought it was a projection TV since they usually have some problems. Try re-calibrating your TV for the best picture, it usually works for me with my Blu-ray (for reducing grain ect.)

so either
1) Problem with your disk
2) Problem with your TV's Calibration
3) Problem with all disks (common issue)

The flicker is a result of HDMI 1.1.

This problem might have passed me by if I watched it during the day time, most people are more sensitive to light than others. But at night time, it's a pest.
Maybe most reviewers were watching it during the day?
Also, playing on a PS3.
