Default 'It Follows' - High-Def Digest Review

Shannon has reviewed 'It Follows' He says this horror movie is a game-changer. The Blu-ray is highly recommended. Here's why...

I really liked this one. The atmosphere was really intense (the score certainly helped in this respect). I really dug the mishmash time period setting that takes different elements from the last 40 years and puts them all sidebyside without really rubbing it in the audience's face for nostalgia points.

I also liked how normal the characters were. They just felt like regular kids and the film didn't get all cluttered up with backstories.

I thought this was a really well executed film.

I'm pretty sure I know what the monster is in this movie but won't ruin it for anyone.

I love this movie because it's so open to interpretation. You can have three people sit down and see three totally different movies. It's great.

Interesting spin on the Ringu-type horror films.

The cover feels very 80s to me, which works since the movie is like a classic Carpenter film.
