Matthew has reviewed 'Ghoulies/Ghoulies II'. He says anyone who was a fan of these movies as kids should be quite happy with Scream Factory's Blu-ray release. Easily recommended. Here's why...

Never seen these before, but have had this release pre-ordered for months now. They seem like some pretty fun movies. Glad to know this is a nice blu-ray release. The screen shots look pretty good too!

oh man, I loved these movies as a kid. But almost every time i revisit these childhood favorites, I'm let down....

^^^ the popcorn machine screenshot is classic. I remember that one more than the toilet scene.

The scene from the second one that always stuck with me is the little green guy unscrewing the tilt-a-whirl ride - I couldn't snag a decent screen shot of that unfortunately

So this is the PG-13 version with the topless scene (Victoria Caitlin) early on taken out? Too bad they couldn't use the R cut or at least include it with the cut footage, as they did with the extra gore. I also wish they would have included Lisa Pelikan in a new interview. I've always found her so cute, It would have been fun to see her today.
