Yeah I saw this was coming. The original that started it all.
Not sure by looking at the list of extras if anything new is there.
Odd seeing Dolby Digital 4.1 listed. No center? Or joined rears?

Pointless if you have the Anthology set.

Could it be the mix they created the dolby stereo/pro logic 4.0 or 4.1 sound track in, from laserdisc or vhs, thrown in as a novelty?

I think the comic and cards are it, so nothing worthy of a repurchase.

Cool cover, though.

The 4k scan used for the Anthology release still looks fantastic, and there are so many fantastic supplements in that set, I can't imagine a need to pick this one up.

I bought the set too (grabbed it while it was on sale) and haven't even opened it yet, same with the Star Wars original trilogy. I've always loved Alien: Resurrection, probably the most hated of the original four. I would consider it Winona Ryder's last major substantial film role.

It is an amazing transfer. I've watched all of the BD set, and watched all the supplemental material (half on DVD when I bought the Quadriology, the rest on BD).

My Star Wars original trilogy set is opened, but I've only watched (most of) Empire Strikes Back.

I like Resurrection a lot. All four of these movies are better than Prometheus

Again, 'Prometheus' makes sense, when you keep in mind that the characters in the film are terrible at their job. This may seem like a cop out as to why everyone does stupid things, but it's like sending the "C Team" to act like guinea pigs, while the only competent people (Weyland and the Android) are running the show.

But yes, all 4 Alien movies are better.
