Oh Boy.

Any truth to the rumors that How to Train Your Dragon (reissue) was a test vehicle for Atmos?

Had to be a goddamn Transformers movie. Ah well, more to come soon no doubt. I'm looking forward to Atmos as home as much if not more so than 4k. I should get to demo it at Cedia here in a few days.

I read that someone from the studio responded and shot that rumour down.

Sept. 30th is not far away. Good news. Would have loved for them to get it on Godzilla sooner.
Let's hope Guardians of the Galaxy, Edge of Tomorrow, The Purge 2, Malificent, Into The Storm and a few others get it too!

I will soon. We're moving into a new house in less than two weeks where I'll be finishing the basement to make what I'd consider to be the ultimate media room. I'll be prewiring for up to 13.2.

I was hoping the DTS NEO X receivers would come down below $1,000, and now, they have ATMOS coming out. It looks like the cheapest Atmos receivers are going to be, what, $1,500? Well, all I can say is that I hope the dts neo: x receiver(s) I'm looking at will go down in price finally. Not sure if/when I'll get ATMOS, or if it'll catch on in the home consumer marketplace.
