Default 'Mr. Majestyk' - High-Def Digest Review

Gordon Miller has reviewed the Elmore Leonard original 'Mr. Majestyk', in which Charles Bronson plays a melon farmer who will harvest his crop no matter the cost. This action cult classic is recommended.

Bronson has not been in very many stinkers.
Can't believe I had never seen or heard of this movie.
Truly a "cult" movie by definition.

Regarding the audio - perhaps the machine guns were in the distance and the melons right in your face, thus why they exploded louder than the gunfire?

"Charles Bronson plays a melon farmer who will harvest his crop no matter the cost"

I'm so tired of the old Hollywood melon farmer cliché.

How much money do they save by using 25GB disks? That's how we get stuck with dts HD MA instead of LPCM, at least for this one. Probably wouldn't have fit in LPCM.

"Stuck with" DTS-HD MA? Do you not understand what the word "lossless" means? LPCM is a useless waste of disc space on Blu-ray. No benefit to that at all.
