My Walmart had this out 1 day early.

It was $10. With $7.50 of Dreamworks Penguins movie money.
And a $2 coupon for Goldfish crackers.

Slipcover lovers, this is a nice one. Everything is embossed.
Lettering, gold snowflakes, and Rudolph is 3-dimensional.

The extent of the embossing is amazing. This is the level
of tiering:
Rudolph's head is raised,
Whites of this eyes are raised,
Black pupils are raised,
Maw is raised,
And of course his red nose is raised.

I've seen 3D conversions will less attention to detail than
achieved in this slipcover.

HDD, you got a review coming? Did I just waste $10 (minus
movie money, minus crackers) on a gorgeous slipcover?

Is there anything different between this version and the version that was already available on blu-ray?

Maybe they thought it was Rudolph The Deep-Throat Reindeer ?? This is a real title

I picked up the digibook (Collectible Storybook) edition at Walmart today. Looks very nice. Didn't appreciate the coupons that came with this release (good for the US only...NOT for Canada).

Am I missing something? At my local Walmart it does not have a slipcover, is more of a mediabook design with a fancy embossed cover. Of course it was priced higher as well. I would not call it a digibook, yes the cover opens like a book, but that's where it stops.
