Funny, everything about that review says "recommended" and yet it's only "worth a look"? Is that because of the price?

I think the PQ is about what can be expected for a film this old. Some are better some worse. I wasn't disappointed (but then I was probably too busy enjoying the movie).

A 5-star movie with better than halfway video and a little bit better audio in my book would merit a purchase IMO.
If there is a computer formula stating a zero score for extras negates everything else sure I get it, maybe.

It's a Twilight Times release. Their releases don't get linked to Amazon for purchase as they are not sold on Amazon except in the marketplace.

What a dope I am. I totally missed that.

I think I'm going to buy this. Surprising for a Twilight release to have decent supplements.

thx

Contemplated to get this, but since the 2007 DVD looks decent enough and has the same extras, combined with Twilight's price, means no double dip for me.

I was lucky enough to buy this for $20 during Twilight Time's blowout sale a few months ago. Normal TT prices of $30 are nosebleed enough to where you gotta want it bad or just be a TT fanboy (which there are plenty).

I had over $100 in my checkout for that sale because I wanted a signed copy of a movie but because that movie HAD to be in the bin as well I missed out. Their facebook messages are very cryptic. I canceled the whole order.

Seriously, I'd rather pay $30 for a Criterion than Twilight Time the way Screen Archives or whoever runs their site operates.

About 3 months ago, TT had a $10 off sale on about 40 movies and this was one of them. I have scored a signed copy a couple of times, but passed the last time. I need to wait until I get 4 movies worth buying and not only that, have a signed copy up for grabs that I want. No point in getting a signed copy of something you don't care for or already have, since the main motivation for ordering 4 movies is to get the 5th one free and so you end up paying only $24 each instead of $30.

It's a little tricky getting the signed copy into your cart. You need to keep refreshing the page until it shows up at the bottom middle of the page. It'll have a $0.00 price. Don't preload the stock copy because you'll get charged for it.

Yesterday I read that the free signed copy didn't show up on the SAE website until about 1:05pm, and was gone in about 3 minutes. Seems more and more people are competing for it these days so it's hard to get if your not quick on the trigger or if you make a mistake.
