I haven't watched it since the early days of DVD, I wonder how well it holds up.

My favorite scene is
Spoiler
when they bury Antonio Bandares upside down.

Glad to hear it! My concerns would be the oversaturation of vampire movies in the past decade. At the time, it was THE sexy vampire movie...with that becoming more common, and the stars having less relavance now (as hot properties), I thought the film might lose some of it's luster/appeal.

Like seeing a movie in high school that you thought was fantastic, then revisiting it 15 years later and seeing it in a very different light.

I saw it for the first time right after it came out on Blu-Ray. I would be hesitant to call Interview "the sexy vampire movie" though - the relationship between Claudia and Louis is a bit creepy (although thankfully toned down from what it is in the books, although you could overlook it in the books, because she does have the mind of a much older vampire, but in the movie, it is hard to look past the age of the actress portraying Claudia, although she did do an excellent job with a very difficult role).

Hard to believe that was Kirsten Dunst! As for the mind of a much older vampire, I disagree. In the movie she clearly had the mind of a child, a devious mind no doubt, throughout the film.

Also, what was up with Brad Pitt's makeup when he was interviewing Christian Slater's character? It looked like there was some weird makeup, or too much makeup or something.
