I love this movie, but I'm seriously getting annoyed by studios double-dipping on movies that have already been released onto blu-ray. Maybe they should start focusing their efforts on releasing films that haven't been put onto blu-ray yet.....

I too love this movie...but I don't see what I'd be getting with this package that I didn't get when I bought the Mel Brooks Blu-Ray collection.

You can buy this in a double-feature with Robin Hood: Men in Tights for under $10. I bought Young Frankenstein on blu-ray at Walmart the day it came out...for $30+ (with the tax).......I felt like a schmuck when I saw the double-feature and its low-price a few years later.

How about they start releasing OTHER Mel Brooks movies. You know, like the original Producers and Dracula Dead and Loving It?

I believe the original Producers got one of those pricey limited releases, like Twilight Time or something like that.

As for 'Dracula Dead and Loving it'...I'm a huge fan of Brooks and of Nelson, but it doesn't bug me it's not on BD.

Shout Factory. Still in print. Good transfer. Lots of extras. Not cheap, but not Twilight Time pricing either. And it can occasionally be found in stores, and has even been on sale a few times. I grabbed my copy at a local Fry's for $14.99 a few months ago.

For those who want to double/triple dip, I saw a Metalpak of this at Best Buy
for $8.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/young-fr...disc/8192342.p

It was in an area with other Halloween theme films. Note that the online entry
doesn't say anything about it being a Metalpak. The item number 8192342 is
correct, and Best Buy usually uses different SKUs for their exclusives.
