To me, The Matrix series is like what happened to Star Wars via the prequels, but it happened much more quickly.

But, I did enjoy the Reloaded and Revolutions in parts, in their own ways.

Still, personally, I don't see a reason to buy these. I guess I just overwatched them on cable, or on DVD.

LOL great point.
I'd still rather watch the Matrix sequels over the Star Wars prequels any day and all day...well not ALL day long but you get my point

lol, true!

With Star Wars, it's like, "Holy hell, why did the tone totally change?".

With The Matrix it's like The Wachowski Siblings said, "Let's out Matrix the Matrix!"

I feel that they actually just about did that, in a good way, with 'Cloud Atlas'.

This triple-feature approach is one of those $12.96 on the shelf at Walmart, $7.96 on Black Friday releases.
Does not the multiple UPCs dilute actual sales of any given title?

What's different about this triple feature from the exact same thing that's been available at Walmart for a very long time?

Reloaded and Revolutions should have been just one movie about Neo and none of the Zion bullshit. Oh, and the Merovingian should have been the villain, NOT Smith 2.0.
