Thanks Kevin,
Not one of his best films, but at least it is preserved (unlike the guys at MGM with The Alamo.)

For extras, In the Team America UK thread, Josh mentions that UK version had no extras whatsoever but that a U.S. release would have the dvd extras likely ported over. I see with this review that it quite literally means ported over, LD instead of HD.

For PQ, the 2nd picture in the review the facial features look like claymation. Is that just a PR picture or is it from the actual disc.

Most of the supplements were created for the Collector's Edition DVD in 2005. It's a shame that Paramount didn't reauthor the content, as it was produced in 16:9. It's actually quite odd, because they did reauthor the photo gallery and trailer, both scanned and encoded in HD on the Blu-ray. Also a bit weird because several other Paramount titles have had extras from DVDs produced in widescreen and/or HD properly reformated for BD.

It's just a shit PR picture. Looks absolutely nothing like the disc. Paramount's new version of "McLintock!" is a fantastic remaster sourced from a 4K scan of the original 35mm film elements held by the Wayne Estate. It's actually one of the best looking vintage titles Paramount has ever released on BD, IMO. Much better than some of the other Wayne films Paramount handed off to Warner (ahem, like Hatari!, where everyone look like they belong in Madame Tussauds), or even the other Blu-ray of "McLintock!" released by Olive Films a couple years back.
