Default 'The Nutty Professor: Ultimate Collector's Edition' - High-Def Digest Review

Gordan has reviewed 'The Nutty Professor: Ultimate Collector's Edition'. He says this film is quite enjoyable. With great video, very food audio, and a boatload of extras, the Blu-ray is highly recommended.

Odd choice of movies for the super deluxe treatment. This movie is not a classic so I expect this to sell badly at the current price point, leading to the inevitable steep price drops in the near future.

There is also non-ultimate version without the deluxe packaging that includes all the same video content and extras - just no scripts, booklets, etc. I pre-ordered mine from Amazon for $10.94 at the end of May. I see that it now shows as "sign up to be notified when this becomes available", perhaps so as to not cut into Ultimate version sales.

Amazon is in a dispute with Warner Bros. and has blocked preorders on all Warner titles.

They should be in a dispute with Sony - their titles are the most expensive!

Lewis is a much bigger star in Europe...this set was made primarily for that audience.

I love this movie. I may have to pick up this collector's set.

Is it numbered?

I think the movie is good enough to add to my collection, and if the box set had 1080p versions of the 2 extra movies then i would probably buy it. Stupid move to have just SD movies that probably every Lewis fan already has. The Ten Commandments came with the silent version in HD.
