I had high hopes for this when I saw Kasdan's name on it. Then I saw it in the theatre and was completely disappointed. Pass.

Considering the content of the movie, perhaps a better headline for this thread might be: "Dreamcatcher Will Shit the Blu-ray Bed on September 16."

The movie is godawful. You didn't miss anything.

The only thing at all notable about it is that theatrical screenings were preceded by the Animatrix short "Final Flight of the Osiris." The movie was released at the height of Matrix fever a couple months before the premiere of The Matrix Reloaded. A lot of Matrix fans bought tickets to Dreamcatcher just to watch the short and then leave the theater.

(A similar thing happened with the movie Wing Commander, which had the very first trailer for The Phantom Menace attached.)

The guy in the cabin on the toilet that crapped out the multiple alien eel things. My butt just cringed the whole time!

I didn't remember Olyphant being in the film, but wow it was a loaded cast. Too bad this movie was such a godawful waste of my time. The movie was just a train wreck from beginning to the end and i still have no idea what i watched overall. I just know i never want to see it again.
