Just got to remember that The Jail is Not My Son.
Seriously though, based on the synopsis would the sequel to this be Smooth Criminal?

For those too young to remember this movie was your above average 80s teens-fight-against-unjust-authority anthem movie *cough*Footloose*cough*. It was in heavy rotation on HBO (what wasn't?) and I have positive memories of it. No doubt I would probably cringe if I rewatched to today. Maybe it holds up, but I'll never find out.

"Dude, life would be rad if it weren't for bogus Dad/cops/corporate developer holding me back from Going For It."

Ah , the timeless message of the 80s teen movie.

Disclaimer: message not limited to 80s teen movies.

1985. I was in 5th grade and 11 years old. But, I'm sure I saw it on TV not in theaters, so I was probably older. Prime 80s. I loved Helen Slater. I'll definitely watch this is probably laugh but it's ok.

This is one of those obscure 80s movies like Eddie and the Cruisers where, if you didn't live the 80s, you wouldn't even be aware of it.

So this will be on blu-ray but The Iron Giant still is not? *heavy sigh*
