Default 'The Wolf of Wall Street' - High-Def Digest Review

David has reviewed 'The Wolf of Wall Street'. This was his favorite film of 2013. He says this black comedy is "Brash, bold, and searingly funny." The Blu-ray skimps on extras, but makes up for it with flawless video and exceptional sound. Highly recommended.

Such an offensive scene, yet such a hilarious scene.

Loved the movie....but really bummed about the lack of extras. This movie seemed like a no brainer for a bunch of docs

DiCaprio trying to get into his Lambo high on SuperLudes is some of the best comedic physical acting I've ever seen. Ever.

Totally agree, Aaron!! That blew me away! He should have won the Oscar for that scene alone!

Glad you brought it up, as I wanted to mention it in the review, but couldn't find a good way to work it in.

I agree. Makes me wonder whether a special edition is somewhere in our future. Deleted scenes and alternate takes would be interesting, too, considering how much improvisation occurred on the set.

Certainly the most enjoyable movie of 2013 for me. As much as I love the ludes scene, I think my favorite may have indeed been the scene with McConaughey and DiCaprio. Sets the tone for the remainder of the movie.

I'm not particularly upset that Leo did not win. But he'll get his some day. Just think of McConaughey winning because of his work in DBC and the incredibly amazing True Detective.

I need to see this movie. Leo may be the most talented actor who has not won yet. I really want him to win!
