I saw this in the theater and felt that it was one of the worst movies I have EVER seen. There was nothing redeeming, the script was awful, the story so unbelievable and with so many plot holes that I stopped caring about any of it before the half way mark. If you're on the fence please do yourself a favor and avoid this one. Total waste of time IMHO.

I think it's harmless. Especially, if you grew up with these guys. It's not amazing film, nor is it something that I would own. But, if it was on Netflix or Cable...I'd watch it with a few buds and beers.

this movie was too bloated with subplots and twists. if it were just an 80's action film starring these two iconic actors, about two tough guys escaping a prison... it'd be a winner! but there's so much crap that we don't care about!

Agree (although 3/5 stars means he thought it at least above average and therefore not a total waste of time)...but I was thinking about this the other day when my wife brought up The Titanic. I am in no way qualified to be a critical reviewer of movies. She asked me how I would review that movie based on what we read here on this site...again, I am awful with movies. But, I would probably lambast The Titanic as a total waste of 3+ hours of my life for what equated to a boring chick flick (and I don't mind chick flicks, but HATED this one). However, even with my limited film knowledge, I recognize that it was beautifully shot, well acted, directed extremely well, etc...would've probably given it 4 or 5 stars. So I could see where someone might have to call a film "average" in the ratings and yet say how much they loved it...just my lame opinion

Could've been a fun movie, but never really lived up to it. Just sort of sat there doing nothing. Couldn't wait to get out of that theater.

I really liked this one. The team is indeed lifeless, with 50 Cent proving he can't act at all. But Sly and Arnie are great together. Arnold turned in an especially fun performance. I'm sure if this had been made in the late 80s or early 90s it would be more solid, but it still works for me.
