Rented the DVD of this.

Sure Jackie has some issues politically, but his brand of entertainment
delivers on this. It was almost like we are watching him 20 years younger.
(Damn I'm getting old, it's more like watching him 25-30 years younger.)
The stunts, the action, the comic frenzy; it's vintage Jackie Chan.

Wished that we could get a fully featured release with 3D and a ton
special features. The 3 minutes of behind the scenes footage in the
closing credits is always great with Jackie Chan films. We should get a
whole bonus disc of them.

No review by Kevin Yeoman? Isn't that HDD's thing? He reviews all the
Asian pics?

Yes, CZ12 isn't anything new that you haven't seen from Jackie before. But
it's still amazing. More amazing now that he's 60 years old.

People will watch the same opera, musical, play, circus, Globetrotter game
over and over again. And it's exactly the same each time. And they'll have
newer, younger talent doing next year's performance. But this is the same
Jackie Chan.

Yes, he comically fought with a ladder, chair, etc. before. But fighting with
a couch is new. But with a photo studio is new. I get the argument that
it's just the same old, same old. That only means you never really liked
Jackie's Charlie Chaplin Kung Fu. CZ12 is the same fun, same fun.

This may have been touted as an IMAX 3D film, but it's a terrible conversion, with no depth (think Gulliver's Travels) whatsoever. There's no reason to watch it in 3D.

You're right. Fuggedabout-da-3D. Still, tons of behind the scenes features
would be great. For other films, the studios think that we'll enjoy watching
actors screw up their lines. I wanna see the outtakes to the Jackie's stunts.
It's morbid, but the screw ups are so much more watchable than
mispronunciations. Even without mistakes, the setup, the rehearsal, the
actual take, how the stunt ends; I'd pay for that edition.
