Again, completely disagree with the movie. Did you even watch it Josh? Easily better than the first one, especially due to the amazing performance of Cumberbach.

I really don't like what Paramount is doing regarding the special features. Very anti consumer, imo.

As far as the movie goes: it's always a matter of opinion to each ones taste. I will be picking this one up. Day 1.

Totally agree on your overall review of this film. I do believe that you gave it too many stars though. 2 at best in my opinion. I also think INSURRECTION is a much better film than some. This film is crap though. Good review Josh! :-)

Great movie review - this is right on!

As for the supplements, this is a STUPID move by Paramount. This may be the first time in history where the supplements get pirated more than the movie. As much as a Trek fan as I am, there is no way I am buying half a dozen copies just to get different suppliments. It sounds as if the disc has BD-Live on it (you did say it streams trailers), so maybe Paramount will see the light and eventually put all the suppliments online.

Oh, are we going to rate Star Trek Films? Okay, here's mine - Best to worse

The Undiscovered Country
Generations
Star Trek (2009)
Search for Spock
First Contact
Motion Picture
Wrath of Khan
Voyage Home
Final Frontier
Insurrection
Into Darkness
Nemesis

Yes, I list Nemesis as the worst Star Trek ever made, and Undiscovered Country as the best

No 3D version with Walmart exclusive sucks
Guess I'll put my 3D version in the Target Collectors' Edition for Star Trek (2009)

I nominate that the acronym we use for Star Trek into Darkness be "STD." Easy to remember, hard to get rid of.
