if i didn't already own all of them on blu, i'd definitely want this...that's just cool packaging! of course you just know they'll re-release it or do another when the next x-men hits home video next fall. thats the problem these days with franchises....they make box sets every time a new one comes out. lol

A family member that I know is an X-MEN fan that currently owns all 5 X-MEN Blu-ray’s. Buying separate releases allows consumers to get 3 Blu-ray bonus discs and also the Wolverine movie in 3-D. When one purchases the Adamantium Collection the original 3 bonus Blu-ray discs and the 3-D version of Wolverine is not included.

Saw the movie opening night. It was so good, with the least amount of unnecessary BS of ALL the X-men films. Not that Viper was great, but she was the only weak link IMO.

Wow that packaging looks awesome. Too bad I already own all the other movies at this point. And $200 is a lot to spend if you don't love every movie.

I am personally so over the fact that according to Fox(and Brian Singer) the X-Men are Wolverine and.......yeah pretty much just Wolverine. The best X-Men movie IMO was First Class, the one that did NOT focus on only Wolverine. Of course now Days of Future Past is back to Singer, whose Wolverine hardon is back just as badly as before.

That may be just me, but that's why even if I didn't own the old box set I would not spend the money on this, cool looking or not it's supposed to be an X-Men set, but is all about Wolverine....no thanks

I am with you. Although, I did like the first Xmen, the third one was just trash, which I have no desire to ever see again.

I am looking forward to this movie.

The movie tries really hard to undo the first two acts with its last 30 minutes. Really hard. That said, I found it in some ways more enjoyable than the other two comic book movies this Summer. An unrated/extended cut might be kind of interesting because it was definitely edited and from what I understand, one major sequence was just cut out entirely perhaps for length or for violence purposes. Definitely one of the hardest PG-13 movies I've seen in a while.

I'm confused. What did Bryan Singer have to do with X-Men: The Last Stand?

Oh, that's right... nothing.

He also didn't have anything to do with Origins: Wolverine, and wasn't actively involved in The Wolverine.

Know what he was very involved in? The making of First Class. Singer wrote the story, produced it, and had a hand in the casting, design, and post-production. I think he did more press for it than Matthew Vaughn, or anyone else for that matter.

So...

I liked all the X-Men movies. Wolverine was trash (the first - haven't gotten to see the second yet).

I agree, that is a cool packaging, but considering that you can pick up most of the X-Men movies for under $10, $200 sounds insanely expensive to me.
