Default 'My Way' - High-Def Digest Review

Bryan has reviewed 'My Way.' He says this is the best war movie since 'Saving Private Ryan.' Highly Recommended!

I am just about to buy this here in the UK, thx for bringing this movie to my attention, it says the extras on UK version is
- "A Way to My Way" - a 40 minute 'Making of'
- "People Behind My Way" - 35 minute documentary with the cast, crew and director (Blu-ray Exclusive)

are you sure on the US disc the lengths are correct, or maybe the UK lengths are wrong.

I'm browsing this website as usual, and click on this review...

Wow! What a glowing review! Never heard of the movie, but heck there's tons of
great things in the world I've never heard of...

Plus+
The price for a new release only $13. (The current Best Buy's Upgrade & Save
program combined with [YMMV] their Express Lane order for non-in-store items,
brought it down to only $8.)

Plus+
I like war movies.

Plus+
Korean films like Man From Nowhere, the Host, and Oldboy gave me positive
experiences with Korean cinema (yes, there's ton of Korean crap, too).

Bottomline:
I ordered it.

Bryan, your words:
"I wish I could buy a ticket for the world to see this film. It is a milestone in filmmaking and is monumental on every level."

...but I took a look at Metacritic...

Bryan, you are way, Way, WAY out of consensus on this one.

Half the reviews are mixed. The other half are negative. Not one, not a single
positive review. Dude, you are sticking your neck out. And I give you kudos
for holding fast to your opinion. But when I finally get around to watching this,
I hope I'm not back here to slice your exposed neck.

Your "buy you a ticket" wish, does that apply as a money back guarantee on blu-
ray purchases?

Saw this movie a while ago. It's too long, overly dramatic when it should just switch to action, highly impossible many times during the narrative... As a WW2 buff, I go into any movie on the subject wanting to find things to like. This one... was a stinker.
