Default 'Solomon Kane' - High-Def Digest Review

Shannon has reviewed 'Solomon Kane.' Shannon says this is a surprisingly good sword and sorcery film based on another character from the creator of Conan the Barbarian. Recommended.

I am going to see this just because of the late great Pete Postlethwaite.

I've had this for awhile. It's a solid flick, if even the ending gets a tad too videogamey for my taste.

Any game that features paid loot boxes should be rated AO.

I like all forms of narrative. Doesn't mean I like all the things associated with it.

Thumbs up

Have enjoyed the U.K. disc for several years now. IMO, it's the best sword and sorcery flick in a couple decades

Imported the UK disc a while back and loved it! I'll pick up the US release just so I can loan it out to friends who haven't seen the flick, yet.

I caught this on Netflix awhile back and thought it was a pretty damn fun to watch film and pretty interesting. I probably won't get it on BD, didn't like it that much, but I could see it worth a purchase by action film aficionados.
